 OUR LOW-COST POLICY
Following our customers where they need us!
We have chosen Slovakia for our first Low-Cost site, with the setting up of our 100% Plastic Solution Automotive subsidiary:
PLASTIC SOLUTION SLOVAKIA
SRO with a capital of 500 000 SKK
For several reasons:
- The location of several car manufacturers within a range of 300 km around Bratislava
- The location of several dozen First-line OEMs, our customers, within the same perimeter
- A country in which second-line suppliers, with a real automotive culture, such as ours, are few on the ground
- A country which offers security in terms of its stability and economic growth
- A qualified, motivated and affordable workforce
- The country belongs to the European Community
Within this structure, 3 main areas of business will be operational at the beginning of 2006
- The production of plastic components and sub-assemblies (technical or finish components)
- Assembly and decor
- The production and maintenance of injection moulds
This structure will be a production centre, which will receive production resources developed, validated and reliability tested on our French sites.
This will provide our customers with Low-Cost production kick-offs, giving the best quality conditions and meeting of deadlines.
